🚩 How It Started

The Crossover Camp began as a solo tradition in 2018 — just one man marking the end of each year by escaping into nature. But in 2020, it evolved. A chance group hike to Owu Waterfalls in Kwara State—with complete strangers, wildfire scares, and unexpected friendship—sparked a new tradition. From a group of 8 travelers navigating the wild in darkness, a cultural movement was born.

The Crossover Camp is a transformative 3-day camping experience for adventurers, creatives, cultural lovers, and seekers of meaning. Hosted every end of year, from December 29 to January 1, it is an immersive, unplugged experience that combines the thrill of the outdoors with deep cultural connection.

Since 2021, it has grown from just 5 campers to 21+ annual participants, and this year, we’re opening only 30 exclusive slots to keep the experience intimate and impactful.
